505.16   KEEPING WILD ANIMALS PROHIBITED.
   (a)   For purposes of this section, “wild animals” are defined as: any live monkey, nonhuman primate, raccoon, skunk, fox, leopard, panther, tiger, lion, lynx or nay other animal that can normally be found in the wild including bears, sea mammals, poisonous reptiles. The term “wild animal” does not include domestic dogs, (excluding hybrids with wolves, coyotes or jackals), domestic cats (excluding hybrids with ocelots or margays). The term “wild animal” also does not include farm animals, rodents, or any captive-bred species of common cage birds.
   (b)   No person shall keep or harbor any wild animal within the City, except at the Shelby County Fairgrounds or except at an established event such as a circus or zoo that has been permitted by the City.
