122.01   POSITION OF PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR ESTABLISHED.
   The position of Public Works Director is hereby established.
   (a)   The Public Works Director shall plan, organize, direct, manage, administrate and coordinate the activities of the divisions within the Public Works Department, including the Street Division and Engineering Division, and shall provide input and managerial control over the City's Capital Improvement program. The Public Works Director shall be a Senior Director within the City organization and shall be accountable to the City Manager, who shall appoint the person to the position.
   (b)   The City Manager is hereby authorized to establish such additional duties for the position as may be reasonably necessary to carry out the foregoing.
