It shall be unlawful for any person to post, paint, tack or otherwise attach any notice or other advertising matter to any fence, wall or building or other property until first obtaining the consent of the owner of such property. It shall be unlawful for any person to post, paint, tack or otherwise attach any notices or advertising matter to any telegraph, telephone, electric or other such poles. (1960 Code)
