(A) A person may not operate an off-road vehicle on any public property, highway, path or sidewalk.
(B) A person may not operate:
(1) On a public sidewalk;
(2) On a town road;
(3) On a highway designated for regular vehicular traffic;
(4) While carrying more persons at one time than the number for which it is designed; or
(5) That has been structurally or mechanically altered from the original manufacturer’s design.
(C) An owner may not authorize or knowingly permit a person to operate an off-road vehicle in violation of this section.
(D) A person who violates this section is guilty of a Class C misdemeanor, subject to penalty.
