A. Costs: The duty, responsibility and cost of controlling noxious weeds on private land within Shoshone County shall be the obligation of the private land owner in accordance with this chapter. On other land, the cost of control of noxious weeds shall be the obligation of the entity or organization that has the authority to set management and maintenance revenue for the land. In the case of departments which have the responsibilities for roads, highways, airports, fairgrounds, landfills and any other lands, it shall be the responsibility of the respective departments to budget for the control of noxious weeds from their general maintenance and operation accounts.
