A. Regular Meetings: The regularly scheduled meetings of the County Planning and Zoning Commission will be held on the first Thursday of each month at six thirty o'clock (6:30) P.M. at the Shoshone County Public Safety Facility (Sheriff's Office). These regular meetings may be continued until another time and date specified as herein provided.
B. Special Meetings; Workshops: The planning and zoning commission may schedule special meetings and workshops to conduct commission business. Special meetings and workshops shall be duly noticed as to the time and location as required by law.
C. Open Meetings; Visitation: All planning and zoning commission meetings and workshops are to be open to the public. Commission members may, at their convenience, visit the site of any proposed agenda item. Visits may be made only to view the area, no testimony, input or decision regarding the pending item shall take place during the visit to the site.
D. Executive Session: The planning and zoning commission may, under extraordinary circumstances, adjourn to executive session:
1. To consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of or to hear complaints or charges brought against a commission or staff member;
2. To consider and advise its legal representatives in pending litigation or where there is a general public awareness of probable litigation.
3. To consider any other matter allowed pursuant to the laws of the state of Idaho.
No executive session may be held for the purpose of taking any final action. At least a two-thirds (2/3) roll call vote is necessary to authorize an executive session.
