Subd. 1. Generally. The sanitary sewer systems as they are now constructed and located in the city or shall be hereafter enlarged or extended shall be operated and maintained under the provisions of this chapter. The Council shall have charge of the management of the systems, subject to the delegation of its authority to other city employees as the Council shall provide.
Subd. 2. Sewer Inspector. The Council shall, from time to time, appoint a person to serve as Sewer Inspector to enforce all regulations pertaining to sanitary sewer systems in the city and in accordance with this chapter.
