607.03 FIRE CODE OPTIONAL CHAPTERS.

Subd. 1.   The Minnesota State Fire Code, established pursuant to M.S. 299F.011, allows the city to adopt by reference and enforce certain optional chapters of the most current edition of the Minnesota State Fire Code.

Subd. 2.   The following optional provisions identified in the most current edition of the State Fire Code are hereby adopted and incorporated as part of the fire code for the City of Shorewood:

      a.   Appendix A, Board of Appeals, International Fire Code IFC 2000; and

      b.   Appendix B, Fire-Flow Requirements for Buildings, IFC 2000; and

      c.   Appendix C, Fire Hydrant Locations and Distribution, IFC 2000; and

      d.   Appendix D, Fire Apparatus Access Roads, IFC 2000; and

      e.   National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard No.72, 2000 edition, National Fire Alarm Code;

      f.   National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Annex B, Mobile and Temporary Cooking Operations.
