All applications for a license under this chapter, whether for business or personal service, shall be signed and sworn to. If the application is that of a natural person, it shall be signed and sworn to by such person; if by a corporation, by an officer thereof; if by a partnership, by one of the partners; and if by an unincorporated association, by the manager or managing officer thereof.
