§ 99.03 ALARM RESPONSE.
   (A)   Whenever an alarm is activated in the city requiring an emergency response to the location by the Police and Fire Departments, and the Police and/or Fire Department responds, a police officer and/or fireman on the scene of the activated alarm system may inspect the area protected by the system and shall determine whether the emergency response was required as indicated by the alarm system, or whether in some way the alarm system malfunctioned or was activated by mistake and thereby was an unwarranted alarm.
   (B)   If the police officer and/or fireman at the scene of the activated alarm system determines the alarm to be an unwarranted alarm, said officer and/or fireman shall make a report of the unwarranted alarm, a notification of which shall be mailed to the alarm user at the location of the alarm system installation, advising the alarm user of the unwarranted alarm, and a copy shall be delivered to the Code Enforcement Board.
