§ 123.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person who operates a junkyard without a license as provided in this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment in the county jail for not more than twelve (12) months or both. Each day of such violation(s) shall constitute a separate offense. Any person convicted of additional violations resulting from a continuation of such offense shall be subject to a fine of not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each violation other than the first day’s.
   (B)   Any person licensed to operate a junkyard who violates the regulations set forth in this chapter shall be subject to having the license revoked and, further, shall be guilty of misdemeanor and on convictions, shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) and not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment in the county jail for not more than twelve (12) months or both. Each day of such violation(s) shall constitute a separate offense. Any person convicted for additional violations resulting from a continuation of such offense shall be subject to a fine of not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each violation other than the first day’s.
