The city is authorized to designate cleaning or maintenance areas on or along roadways and shall provide suitable signs and markings in the area to be cleaned or worked on, restricting parking for a particular time or day(s). It shall be unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle to stop and leave standing or park a vehicle on any roadway or part thereof so designated.
