§ 33.49 SHOOT TO STOP.

Members shall not fire their weapons to kill, but rather to stop and incapacitate an assailant from completing a potentially deadly act as described in the following sections of this policy. For maximum

stopping effectiveness and minimal danger to innocent bystanders, the officer should shoot at center body mass.
