The Town Marshal’s job description shall be as follows:
(A) Hours:
(1) Twenty-four-hour duty on call;
(2) Five days a week;
(3) Weekends have no set times as this is on call only.
(B) Patrolling town under set times and hours due to times and conditions.
(C) Marshals and Deputies will be on a one year probation.
(D) Training of deputies and reserves.
(E) Responsible for officers and equipment.
(F) Door check of businesses.
(G) Work with Hancock County and Henry County if called to assist.
(H) Inventory on all town Police equipment.
(I) Notify county on who is working the weekends.
(J) Services help with traffic-control for funeral homes and churches if called upon.
(K) Help Town Maintenance Man on streets during bad weather and at the sewage lagoon if needed.
