ORDINANCE NO. 20190805

AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE TOWN OF SHIRLEY, INDIANA

   WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of SHIRLEY, Hancock/Henry County, Indiana, is a duly operating Town under the laws of the State of Indiana, and

   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio has completed the S-2 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Shirley, which supplement contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted since the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Shirley; and

   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make a reference to sections of the Indiana code; and

   WHEREAS, it is the intent of the town to accept these updated sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the State of Indiana; and

   WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of the town and for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and general welfare of the town that this ordinance take effect at an early date;

   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF SHIRLEY, SHIRLEY, INDIANA: The Town Council of the Town of SHIRLEY, Hancock/Henry County, Indiana, has determined the following:

   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF SHIRLEY, INDIANA this Ordinance will be in full force and effect from and after its passage and signature by the Town Council, Town of SHIRLEY, Indiana, and proper publication as provided by law.
