For the purposes of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DEPARTMENT. The executive department consisting of the Town Council President, Fire Chief, and other designees appointed by the Executive.
ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY. The enforcement authority to enforce the provisions of this subchapter as well as those provisions adopted by reference shall be the town’s Code Enforcement Officer or his or her designee. The town shall name Andrew Ebbert, Fire Chief, as the first designee. Subsequent designees may be named in the town minutes as designee to enforce this subchapter.
HEARING AUTHORITY. The town’s Unsafe Building Board or other designee appointed by the Town Council.
