It shall be unlawful for any person to park or operate a truck or other vehicle having a gross vehicle weight in excess of 10,000 pounds, by its manufacturer’s rating, any semi-tractor motor vehicle or semi-trailer on any public street, alley, public parking lot or public park in the town except for the length of time necessary for the expeditious transporting and loading or unloading of materials.
