§ 114.04 RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF PERMITTED SALES.
   An owner or occupant of residential premises within the limits of the village may conduct a garage sale on his or her premises, subject to the following restrictions:
   (A)   Only two sales are permitted during a calendar year. Residents are also permitted to participate in their organized subdivision wide yard sales twice a year;
   (B)   No sale conducted pursuant to this section shall exceed three consecutive days in length;
   (C)   All sales shall be conducted between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.;
   (D)   No sales shall be conducted on public property or right-of-way, unless authorized by the Village Board;
   (E)   As a safety consideration, no advertising for said sale shall be placed in a location blocking the view of traffic, including village utility poles and street signs;
   (F)   Signs used to advertise shall not exceed nine square feet in size. Signs must be removed immediately at the close of the sale;
   (G)   No items shall be sold at such sale, which are restricted by law.
