(A) Anyone who has lived in the village for at least 30 days must register cats and dogs older than four months with the St. Clair County animal control. Current rabies inoculation is required for both dogs and cats.
(B) Anyone who has lived in the county for 30 days, who allowed their dog or cat to be within the village, must register cats and dogs older than four months with the county. Rabies inoculation also is required for both dogs and cats.
(C) At any reasonable time, upon request of any member of the Police Department or village employee, the owner or keeper of any dog or cat shall exhibit his or her county certificate showing the inoculation against rabies of any dog or cat owned or controlled by him or her.
