(A) Any officer who leaves the Department shall return all official equipment in good condition, including insignia, before receiving final compensation.
(B) Beginning 1-1-2007, all police officers not covered by the FOP labor agreement will receive a yearly maintenance allowance of $300 to be used for the purchase and maintenance of clothing and equipment items used in the performance of their duties. The clothing allowance is to be paid either through purchase orders/vouchers, prior authorization by the employer, or by reimbursing officers upon presentation of a paid receipt.
