(A) The position of Village Clerk is a non-policy making appointive salaried exempt position. He or she shall receive a salary as provided for by ordinance.
(B) He or she shall perform all duties as prescribed in the Illinois Compiled Statutes.
(C) He or she shall with the advice and consent of the Mayor and Trustees appoint a Deputy Clerk. The Deputy Clerk's duties will be as prescribed by the Clerk and the Illinois Compiled Statutes.
(D) The Village Clerk is responsible for the supervision and assignment of duties for personnel assigned to the Village Clerk's Office.
