§ 70.20 DEFINITIONS.
   The Illinois Vehicle Code, ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 1-1 et seq. entitled, "Title and Definitions", except ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 1-100 and 1-300, as passed, approved and amended from time to time by the Illinois General Assembly is hereby adopted by the village, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the village.
