§94.04 RULES CONCERNING LOTS AND LOT OWNERS.
   Cemetery rules are not made to interfere with your rights; they are imposed to protect the interest of all lot owners and to promote the general harmony to the benefit of all.
   (A)   No lot shall be used for any purpose other than as a place for the burial of human remains.
   (B)   Heirs or assigns of lot owners must prove their rights to the satisfaction of the Village of Shiloh before their orders for interment will be accepted. Lot owners may dispose of their lots by will, subject to the rules of the cemetery. Otherwise, ownership and the right to give orders for burial shall occur in accordance with the laws of descent of the State of Illinois.
   (C)   All monuments are subject to the approval of Village of Shiloh. Monument foundations shall be substantial and installed in accordance with the currently adopted "Village of Shiloh Cemetery Rules and Regulations."
   (D)   All monuments shall be placed in the cemetery in accordance with the currently adopted "Village of Shiloh Cemetery Rules and Regulations" and as shown on the plat of the cemetery on file with the Village of Shiloh.
   (E)   It is the responsibility of the lot owner to make arrangements with a professional and reputable monument company to install monument foundations and monuments pursuant with the most currently adopted "Village of Shiloh Cemetery Rules and Regulations."
   (F)   Wooden or iron fences, copings, posts connected with bars, hedges, hanging baskets, and shepherd hooks are prohibited. Only flower vases may be inserted into the ground.
   (G)   (1)   Lot owners shall not have the right to plant trees, shrubs, flowers, or establish vegetation of any type on their lots.
      (2)   Lot owners are not allowed to add soil, lay sod, plant grass seed or otherwise alter the landscape of their lot without permission from the Village of Shiloh.
   (H)   (1)   The village reserves the right to enter upon any lot for purpose of removal and remediation of anything that is non-compliant, offensive, improper, or injurious from graves and lots.
      (2)   Flowers and items placed on cemetery graves that become defaced or unsightly in appearance are subject to removal and disposal at any time.
   (I)   No interments shall be made, nor shall any work be done on any lot on which unpaid charges are due for work done upon it.
   (J)   Orders for disinterment or removals will be taken by the Village of Shiloh in accordance with the State law.
