CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEM. A system of coaxial cables, wave guides or other conductors and equipment for the reception, amplification and distribution of television, radio or other signals to subscribing members of the public for a fee.
COMPANY. The grantee of rights under this chapter.
FCC. The Federal Communications Commission.
GROSS SUBSCRIPTION REVENUE. All compensation paid by a subscriber for the sale of the company's monthly basic television services. This does not include revenue derived from paid television program charges, leased channels, pay-television service; nor does it include any sales or excise tax.
