Pursuant to IC 7.1-3-9-4, the Town Council hereby consents to the issuance by the Alcoholic Beverage Commission of the state of liquor retailer permits to persons and premises within the town otherwise duly qualified for those permits under the provisions of IC 7.1-3-9. The Council further makes a covenant to the state and holders of or applicants for liquor retailer permits that the Council will not revoke the consent for a minimum of two years and 60 days after the effective date of this section.
