§ 93.42 DOGS PROHIBITED IN TOWN’S PARKS DURING SPECIAL EVENTS.

   (A)   Dogs, leashed or unleashed, shall be prohibited during special events held on the premises of the town’s parks.

   (B)   For purposes of this section, SPECIAL EVENTS shall be defined as follows:

      (1)   Sheridan Fourth of July - Parade/Celebration;

      (2)   Sheridan BlueGrass Fever;

      (3)   Music and Art in the Park;

      (4)   Sheridan Harvest Moon Festival; and

      (5)   Any event held in the town’s parks which the Town Council determines to be a special event under this section.

   (C)   This section shall not apply to the following:

      (1)   Any police dogs under the jurisdiction of the Town of Sheridan, as well as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

      (2)   Any dogs which are actively participating in a parade or other organized function.
