(A) The members of the Board of Parks and Recreation may, at the discretion of the Town Council, be provided with:
(1) An annual salary not to exceed the amount prescribed by IC 36-10-3-9(a); and/or
(2) A per diem allowance for each meeting of the Board attended by the member.
(B) Any compensation determined under division (A) above shall be included in the town salary ordinance and in the budget and appropriations for the Department.
