§ 93.16 BOARD OF PARKS AND RECREATION ESTABLISHED; APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS; TERMS.
   (A)   The Board of Parks and Recreation shall be composed of members as follows:
      (1)   Four members appointed by the Town Council President, provided not more than two of those members shall be of the same political party; and,
      (2)   One member who shall be a member of the Board of School Trustees of the Marion-Adams School Corporation, appointed by the school trustees; and,
      (3)   One member who shall be a member of the Sheridan Library Board, appointed by the Library Board.
   (B)   Members of the Board appointed under divisions (A)(1) above shall serve for a four-year term, which shall expire on the first Monday in January, provided, the term of members initially appointed shall be one, two, three and four years. Members appointed under divisions (A)2) or (A)(3) above shall serve for a one-year term expiring on the first Monday in January. However, regardless of the expiration of terms as fixed above, an appointee shall continue in office until his or her successor is appointed and shall be considered reappointed to a new term if no successor is appointed by the first Monday in April following the expiration of the member's term.
