It is a penal violation for any person to violate or fail to comply with any order or regulation promulgated during a civil emergency pursuant to § 36.04 by the Town Council President or a person authorized pursuant to § 36.05. Any person committing a penal violation shall, upon conviction, be fined in an amount not less than $500 nor more than $2,500, but each day a violation continues is and may be cited and prosecuted as a separate offense if not otherwise a distinct act and violation.
