§ 34.15 ACCOUNTING OF SEWAGE WORKS FUNDS; ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT; AVAILABILITY TO BOND HOLDERS.
   The town shall keep proper books and records of account separate from all of its other records and accounts, in which complete and correct entries shall be made showing all revenues received on account of the operation of the sewage works, all disbursements made therefrom and all transactions relating to the sewage works. There shall be prepared and furnished to the original purchaser of the bonds, and upon written request, to any holder of the bonds, an annual report setting out complete operating, income and financial statements and balance sheet of the sewage works, in reasonable detail, covering the preceding fiscal year. That report shall be prepared and furnished within 60 days after the close of each fiscal year and shall be certified by the Clerk-Treasurer, or the same may be prepared by an independent certified public accountant employed for that purpose. The expense of the certified public accountant shall be considered an operation and maintenance expense. Copies of all the statements and reports shall be kept on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
