The funds derived from the operation of the water and sewer system shall be deposited, managed, and handled as to comply in all particulars with the requirements and provisions of the revenue bond ordinance of the city incident to the financing of the system. Surplus funds in excess of the amount required to be maintained under the provisions of the lease dated November 25, 1991, between Kentucky Municipal Finance Corporation and the city shall be deposited in the name of the city as provided in the lease and may be transferred to the general fund of the city as provided in the lease.
