Every person to whom a license shall be granted to carry on the business of a pawnbroker, as provided by this chapter, shall be prohibited from publicly displaying pistols and firearms in any outside window, or selling or disposing of any pistols or firearms to any person without notification to the Chief of Police of the city or the officer designated by him.
