The intent of the Shelbyville Economic Development Fund (hereinafter referred to as "SEDF" or "the Fund") is to provide financial incentives and assistance to aid in the creation and retention of jobs and businesses in the city. It is the goal of the SEDF to be as flexible as possible in providing financial assistance with the overall aim of participating in transactions having a reasonable likelihood of success, thus resulting in the preservation of the financial health of the Fund.
