The Director of Public Works/City Engineer shall make inspections as are reasonably necessary to enforce this chapter, and shall have authority to promulgate and cause to be enforced the rules and regulations, and dictate these individual permit terms and conditions as may be reasonably necessary to enforce and carry out the intent of this chapter. Further, the Director of Public Works/City Engineer may require any person conducting facility work to submit a written report as to the nature and urgency of the facility work and any other matter relating to the provisions of this chapter. This report shall be filed with the Director of Public Works/City Engineer within ten (10) days of receipt of notice requiring the report, unless otherwise extended by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer.
