(A) (1) Two (2) hours free parking shall be allowed on the following streets.

(2) Thirty (30) minute free parking shall be allowed at the following locations.

(B) Vehicles illegally parked may be towed away and the owners of any vehicles towed away shall be responsible for towing charges and storage fees.
(C) The owner of any vehicle violating division (A) shall be fined five dollars ($5.00) and may pay the fine at Police Headquarters, Municipal Building, 1040 Main Street, Shelbyville, Kentucky, within ten (10) days from the date of violation. The violators who fail to pay the above fine to the Police Department within ten (10) days from the date of violation shall be cited into district court and subjected to a fine of ten dollars ($10.00) plus court costs.
(D) The owner of any vehicle violating subsection (A) a second time within a six (6) month period shall be fined ten dollars ($10.00) and may pay the fine at Police Headquarters, Municipal Building, 1040 Main Street, Shelbyville, Kentucky, within ten (10) days from the date of violation. Violators who fail to pay the fine to the Police Department within ten (10) days from the date of violation shall be cited into district court and subjected to a fine of twenty dollars ($20.00) plus court costs.
(E) The owner of any vehicle violating subsection (A) more than two (2) times within a six (6) month period shall be fined twenty dollars ($20.00) and may pay the fine at Police Headquarters, Municipal Building, 1040 Main Street, Shelbyville, Kentucky, within ten (10) days from the date of violation. Violators who fail to pay the fine to the Police Department within ten (10) days from the date of violation shall be cited into district court and subjected to a fine of thirty dollars ($30.00) plus court costs.
(F) The Police Department shall forward all fines collected to the City Clerk/Treasurer.
