Prior to preforming installation, service, repair, inspection or maintenance of fire protection systems, the qualified person conducting such function(s) shall submit documentation to the Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, Fire Inspector, or his or her designee, verifying certification, for the company or individual for each type of fire protection system being installed, serviced, repaired, inspected or maintained. Certification shall conform to the requirements as outlined in each applicable NFPA standard or from the manufacturer of such equipment.
