The means of acquiring the water from an alternative water supply shall be accessible and the connection(s) shall be approved by the Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, Fire Inspector, or his or her designee. The owner shall verify the fire flow requirements with the Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, Fire Inspector, or his or her designee, prior to final design and construction.
