Orders shall set forth a time limit for compliance
dependent upon the hazard created by the violation(s).
(A) Initial inspection. Thirty days to correct violations (time frame can be longer if deemed acceptable by Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, Fire Inspector, or designee).
(B) Re-inspection. Fifteen days (time frame can be longer if deemed acceptable by Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, Fire Inspector, or designee).
(C) Second re-inspection. If violations or steps to correct violations have not been abated, begin fine process of $50 per day.
(D) Third re-inspection. If violations or steps to correct violations have not been abated, begin fine process of $150 per day.
(E) Final re-inspection. If no effort has been made to correct violations found by the Shelbyville Fire Department, § 91.029may be enforced.
