The provisions of this chapter are supplemental to the Indiana General Administrative Rules (GAR), International Fire Code, International Building Code, International Electrical Code, International Mechanical Code, International Residential Code, International Plumbing Code, International Fuel Gas Code, International Swimming Pool Code, and NFPA Standards, as adopted by the Indiana Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission. The provisions of this chapter apply to maintenance of fire prevention and life safety features as herein described. The provisions of this chapter apply to existing conditions as well as to the conditions arising after the adoption thereof.
