§ 92.56 PROHIBITION AGAINST GROUNDWATER WELLS IN SPECIFIED AREA.
   (A)   The installation of groundwater wells within the specified area is prohibited.
   (B)   The use of existing groundwater wells for potable water within the specified area is prohibited.
   (C)   The use of groundwater wells for industrial uses within the specified area is permitted.
   (D)   Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be subject to a fine of up to $100 for each violation. Each day a person is in non- compliance with this section shall be a separate offense.
   (E)   For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      INDUSTRIAL USES. Any water used for industrial purposes such as manufacturing, production, heating, cooling or treatment.
      PERSON. An individual, partnership, co-partnership, firm, company, limited liability company, corporation, association, joint stock company, trust, estate, political subdivision including the City of Shelbyville or any other legal entity or their legal representatives, agents or assigns
      POTABLE WATER. Any water used for human or domestic consumption including but not limited to water used for drinking, bathing, swimming, washing dishes or preparing foods.
      SPECIFIED AREA. Refers to the area confined by boundaries connecting the following coordinates:
Beginning at the point of origin, being the southwest corner of the specified area, located at the intersection of Locust Street and Tompkins Street; then proceeding:
North along Tompkins Street to the Big Blue River; thence,
Northeast, then southeast along the Big Blue River to Morris Avenue; thence,
Southwest along Morris Avenue to the intersection of Morris Avenue, Vine Street and Walker Street; thence,
South along Vine Street to the intersection of Vine Street and Broadway Street; thence,
South/Southwest along Hendricks Street to the east property line of parcel # 73-11-05-200-189.000-002; thence,
South/southeast, then south/southwest along the east property line of parcel #73-11-05-200-189.000-002 to the point of intersection with parcel #73-11-05-200-186.000-002; thence,
South/southwest along the east property line of parcel #73-11-05-200-186.000-002 to the point of intersection with the Central Railroad Company of Indiana easement; thence,
South, crossing the Central Railroad Company of Indiana tracks, to the easternmost corner (i.e., the intersection of the northeast and southeast property lines) of parcel #73-11-05-200-028.000-002; thence,
Southwest along the southeast property line of parcel #73-11 -05-200-028.000-002; thence,
West along the south property line of parcel #73-11-05-200-028.000-002; thence,
North along the west property line of parcel #73-11-05-200-028.000-002 to Bud Street; thence,
West along Bud Street to Noble Street; thence,
North along Noble Street to Locust Street; thence,
West along Locust Street to the point of origin.
