§ 30.39 FIRE AND AMBULANCE FEES.
   (A)   The following schedule of rates and fees is established for services provided by the Shelbyville Fire Department.

   (B)   The Nonreverting Water Rescue Fund is established. The source of funds deposited into this account shall be the "Water Rescue" fees collected pursuant to this section. This fund shall be nonreverting and shall be used to pay the costs of equipment, supplies, training and any other expenses directly related to the water rescue services provided by the Fire Department.
   (C)   The Nonreverting Extrication Fund is established. The source of funds deposited into this account shall be the "Extrication from Vehicle or Equipment" fees collected pursuant to this section. This fund shall be nonreverting and shall be used to pay the costs of equipment, supplies, training and any other expenses directly related to the extrication services provided by the Fire Department.
   (D)   The following definitions shall apply to this section:
      BASIC LIFE SUPPORT, ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT, ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT LEVEL I, and ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT LEVEL II. The meanings as set forth by applicable state and federal law and regulation.
      COMMERCIAL KITCHEN HOOD TESTING. Light testing of duct work, duct wrap and hood suppression testing.
      FIRE ALARM SYSTEM TESTING. Reviewing the location of the panel and testing the fire alarm system.
      HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMERGENCY. The meaning as set forth by I.C. 13-11-2 as may be amended from time to time.
      LIFE SAFETY TESTING. Labeling of electrical rooms and panels, doors, riser rooms, alarm panel rooms, panic hardware testing, emergency light testing, fire extinguisher placement and Knox Box placement.
      LOADED MILEAGE. The miles traveled by the ambulance while transporting the patient from the scene to the destination.
      PRIVATE WATER HYDRANT TESTING. Placing of concrete kickers or accepted practices of Indiana American Water Standards; flow testing and painting of hydrants to meet NFPA standards.
      RESPONSE UNIT. A fire engine, a fire truck, or a fire apparatus, including a hazardous material response unit, or a fire rescue unit dispatched on a fire or hazardous material incident.
      SPRINKLER INSPECTION.   Inspection of above grid sprinkler, water vault, and sump pump; and two hour pressure test.
