I.C. 36-7-9-1 through 36-7-9-28 is hereby incorporated by reference in this chapter. All proceedings within the city for the inspection, repair and removal of unsafe buildings shall be governed by the provisions of this chapter. In the event the provisions of this chapter conflict with the provisions of I.C. 36-7-9-1 through 36-7-9-28, then the provisions of the state statutes shall control.
