For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BUILDING CONTRACTOR. Anyone engaging for remuneration in the building construction business of new construction, demolition of a structure(s), repair and alteration or remodeling for which a building permit is required.
HOMEOWNER. The owner occupant of a single-family dwelling or the owner of a new single-family dwelling in which he or she intends to reside.
