(A) This section shall apply to through trucks. A through truck is defined to be any cargo-carrying motor vehicle which is passing through the city and has no cargo to be delivered to businesses located in the central business district.
(B) All trucks passing through the city shall use only those highways which have been numbered and designated as either state or federal highways.
(C) All through trucks with trailers greater than 42 feet in length are prohibited from traveling on State Road 9 from the north junction of State Road 44 to Michigan Road. The city shall post official truck route signs to aid through trucks in traveling designated local routes instead of the roadway on State Road 9 from the north junction of State Road 44 to Michigan Road; the state will not take responsibility for damages cased by said rerouting.
