(A) The construction contractor shall furnish a record in approved usable form, showing the location of each sanitary sewer house connection at the property line or at the utility easement line, located at a right angle to a point in and along the center line of the main sewer, the latter point being carefully measured from the nearest downstream manhole. Such careful measurements and determinations shall be continuously made by the contractor, simultaneously with the construction and the record therefore, in required form, shall be promptly completed and submitted to the Engineer and Superintendent before the final acceptance of the sewer construction.
(B) In addition to division (A), the construction contractor shall, when sidewalks are available opposite the sewer being constructed, mark the street side of the walk directly opposite the sewer connection with an “S” or a metal pin. This may also be done on the curb.
(C) If there are no sidewalks or curbs in the construction, then the locater should be a metal pin incased in the concrete locating the lateral.
(D) The water service lines should be permanently marked in the same manner.
(E) Within 60 days from the last date of construction, the “as built” of the sewer lines with the distance of laterals from the manholes are required to be sent to the Superintendent of the wastewater treatment plant.
