§ 30.29 AUTHORITY TO ORDER FIRES EXTINGUISHED.
   (A)   The Chief or the acting chief is empowered and authorized to order any person maintaining a fire of any nature or any person on whose real estate any fire of any nature is being maintained, to extinguish it when the fire is hazardous or could endanger the lives or property of others.
   (B)   The Chief or the acting chief is empowered and authorized to order any person whom he or she has reason to believe intends to start a fire of any nature which is hazardous or which shall endanger the lives and property of others, not to ignite or start the fire.
