(A) Mandatory retirement age. All members of the Police Department of the city shall retire on the first day of the next month following their sixty-fifth birthday.
(B) Police pension fund. There shall be a Police Pension Board of Trustees to perform certain duties prescribed by I.C. 36-8-6 (1925 Fund) and I.C. 36-8-8 (1977 Fund) concerning the statutory pensions of city police.
