§ 72.42  TRUCK-TRACTORS WITH AUXILIARY POWER UNIT PROHIBITED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to park any truck-tractor whether or not it is attached to a semi-trailer in any residentially zoned area within the village limits for over 24 consecutive hours when such truck- tractor is equipped with an auxiliary power unit and the auxiliary power unit is operational or left in idle mode.
   (B)   For the purpose of this section, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      AUXILIARY POWER UNIT. Any device or equipment on a motor vehicle that provides energy for functions other than propulsion. Examples of this definition shall include, but not be limited to, heating and air conditioning, radios, televisions, and any other equipment on the truck-tractor requiring electrical power and energy to operate.
