In order to provide for a coordinated response to a disaster or emergency in the county, the village, and other cities and villages in Polk County, the Village Board deems it advisable and in its best interests of the community and the county to approve the Polk County Local Emergency Operations Plan, attached to this resolution and adopted as if set out in full. Acceptance of this 2015 Local Emergency Operations Plan supersedes all previous approved Polk County Local Emergency Operations Plans.
