(a) All mailboxes can be installed with the following: a 4' by 4" wooden post, a rust proof metal post, stone or brick permanently anchored into the ground.
(b) Types of mailboxes allowed:
(1) Basic metal.
(2) Basic plastic.
(3) Basic all aluminum.
(4) Cedar.
(5) Stone or brick.
(c) All mailboxes will be installed according to the U.S. Postal Regulations regarding height from the ground and distance from the roadway.
(d) All mailboxes and posts must be maintained in a “like new” condition.
(e) Any person, firm, corporation, organization, or business violating the provisions of this section shall upon conviction, be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) and not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). Each day after which an unapproved mailbox is installed and the owner is notified in writing.
